Directions:

You should replace the ClearRay bulb every year to year and a half. Most people notice as the bulb gets closer to its end of life you will need to be using more Chlorine. You will also get a code “blb” which some please say looks like “616” That is telling you its time to change the bulb.

Make sure to wear the gloves provided as you don’t want to touch the bulb directly with your hands. With Spa off, locate the ClearRay System in your spa. It will be under the cabinet by the keypad. Undo the 4 screws and pull the old bulb out. Unclip the bulb and clip in the new bulb, making sure you are wearing the gloves provided. Slide it back in the Quartz Tube, then screw the cover back on. In your manuel you will see how to reset the timer.
